**Please Read**

Alas, due to lack of interest, there are no Southern Bella Meetups scheduled for the rest of the year. I am re-evaluating the feasibility of continuing the group in 2008. If anyone has ideas on how to make this group more active or ideas on projects or techniques that may be of interest to the group, please feel free to comment here or email me at juneoneal@gmail.com. Because there is a $19 monthly fee involved in maintaining the MeetUp group site, I may discontinue that online account and use a blog and email contact program to keep interested participants apprised of events if we continue to have them. I would love to continue with this group and welcome suggestions on how to make it more interesting and inviting for all.

It's our FIRST official crop nite as "Southern Bellas"!

I'd love to have you all over for an evening of cropping MADNESS! Bring any layouts you're working on or would like to GET STARTED ON and come on over for some GREAT company and a LOT of laughs! We'll get started around 7pm and go until midnight! Come in your pajama pants & slippers if you want!

I've been thinking about including a SWAP TABLE that night where everyone could bring items they'd like to contribute to the mix. I guess everyone would just be on the honor system - if you bring five items, you may take 5 items, etc. I've never hosted a "swap" before, so if you have any ideas on how to conduct this type of thing, I'd LOVE to hear from you. I just thought it might be nice to "share" things we no longer have use for and maybe pick up a few new things to boot!

Anyhoo - for crop nite to take place, we'll need a minimum of 5 participants (and a maximum of 10). If we don't get the number of participants needed, crop nite for November will be canceled and we'll try again in December. So be sure to check the number of RSVP's the day of the event - if the "YES" RSVP count is five (5) or more, we're on. If not, it's canceled for the evening.

Gosh, I HOPE we'll get enough! I'm in need of some SERIOUS girl-time! :o)
