I am in the middle of some CRAZEE life-stuff right now, but I sat down today to review unread email and just "play" for a minute when, in my in-box, I find TONS of comments/thank yous/encouragement. My thanks to Michaele Burkhart and ALL you gals who sent me some LUV during a time when I REEEEEEALLY need it!

Have you ever had a friend over for a visit and you're just chatting and catching up and enjoying yourselves and then all of a sudden you think of some "thing" you have that you just *know* she'd love? Those moments when you lose your manners for a quick sec and interrupt to say, "Oh my gosh! I have something for you!!!!"...?

Well, in the midst of one not-so-great-feeling day, I had a moment that felt JUST like that 2 seconds ago. So I went to my "closet" and "pulled out" one of my first ever digital creations. It's only a 6x6 LO, and it's kind of "dated" looking, but I thought of the colors and how soft they were and how they made me feel yummy the day I first pieced it together.

So I want you to have it. Maybe you can change the cheesy text or something if you want.  :o) I'm laying low today, trying to "relax and release" a little. These colors kind of represent the "coziness factor" I'm trying to attain at some point today.

{Today, I am... getting a little more in the holiday "swing of things"! }

Okay, I'm finally getting taken over by the "Christmas Crazies". I ran across a video link to my favorite Christmas movie of all time - "A Christmas Story". Okay, it took me a few days to get the hang of it, but now that I have, I am HOOKED! If you have the time, go to ProtoPage.com. Sign up for your free "account" and PLAY with this thing!

I have my personal ProtoPage set up as my Start page. I've added my to-do list, links to frequently visited websites, plus a WHOLE lot more (thanks to their long list of available "widgets" you can add to your pages). Here's a screen shot of what MY ProtoPage looks like:

Oh, and I'm not anywhere near DONE. I've got plans for this baby! I hope you find a way to integrate this into YOUR online reperetoire. I just LOVE having a "control panel/dashboard" at my fingertips like this! By the way, I'm using Internet Explorer 7.0 (the new version). I LOVE the tabs! Firefox also uses the tabs concept and I find it so much easier to navigate multiple web pages this way. If you're interested, you can download IE 7.0 at the Microsoft website and Firefox here.

Hellooooo!

Well, I've jumped in feet first and put up two freebies and my first Digi-DOLLAR Store item on the Love. Laugh. Create. website! I must admit - I am having a BLAST thinking up kits and themes to create and learning how to post everything to the Web!

I know. I know. It's a stretch, but I'm hoping to drum up some "movement" out there among my viewers. You may have seen the post I did earlier this morning with the Freebie Kit. I noticed you can't see the digi-glitter elements in the preview very well, so I wanted to "show them off" here (they're shown below at 40% of actual size). I am having fun learning how to make things "sparkle" in 2-D! So here are the elements in GLITTER that I created for the kit. Good morning! I am enjoying a very quiet weekend and have done quite a few creative things I've wanted to get around to! One thing I played with was this cute little layout in preparation for Waylon's first Christmas. Here's what I made so far. { Today, I am... sharing a cute little online applet. }

I was browsing some pictures at one of my favorite websites, Art.com, and came across this simple, yet neat little applet called artpad digital canvas. If any of you have recently purchased a Wacom tablet of any size or sort, you may still need some practice in getting used to using the pen. This little guy might be just the thing to use when you want to get in some quick practice. Just go to http://artpad.art.com/artpad/painter/ and draw away!

If you like what you create, you can even purchase your creation and have it sent to you FRAMED! It can be used with a regular mouse, too, but you'll find your lines a little jerky.

Also, I should tell you about my FAVORITE drawing app that I use quite often (other than my Adobe stuff, of course). It is Xara Xtreme: here's a link to their website.

I had a smaller Wacom drawing tablet and treated myself a couple years ago to the Intuous. It is, by far, my most PRIZED peripheral! You can check it out here.
